An Ordinary Friday

Despite today being the first time all week that I was able to wake up with John, I eventually had to leave the comfort of our snugly bed. Today was an important day! It was the last day of semester, my last class test (which was a catastrophe) and the day my new super-thermos arrived in the mail.

The end of semester has been a much anticipated milestone by most of my peers, more so this semester than any other so far. Except now it seems ridiculous that exams are only two weeks away. I often get a feeling of being much more under-prepared than I normally am, or maybe that I am normally super-prepared. It's one of the two, but either way I don't like it and the only cure is a whole lot of work.

Since it was my last day, and the afternoon ended up being far from fantastic, I found a spare second to try out my new super-zoom lens from the balcony. I'll be heading down to the city tomorrow, to take some proper photos of the Vivid Festival lights, but I won't be able to use this lens when I'm there (it's zoom is almost as good as one of our small telescopes).

... and then I'll continue my study regime as this afternoon's test has only served to re-motivate me into studying like a mad-woman!
