It always amazes me how much fun you can have in our small apartment. I would have thought that my toddler niece and nephew would have been bored out of their minds in an all-adult home with no garden, but it always seems to please. The toys we do have, and other kid friendly and/or colourful things are strategically placed on the bottom shelf of a wardrobe. Whenever my three-year old niece arrives, and after a moment of pretending to be shy, she makes a quick run [literally] straight to the wardrobe. She learnt after only the first visit where the toys are kept, and is so excited when she arrives to find new additions.
Today was a family fun day in our house, as my parents are down to spend the long weekend with their grandchildren. It was a musical event with a bit of jamming between colouring in, dinosaurs, FIFA and food.
